I'm looking for a way to modify a few colors in Xterm like the way these boys are doing it.

I've been using mrxvt for the past two weeks, I think it's awesome, but I can't find a way to make the cursor appear as underlined as it can in Xterm.

Any suggestions on this? I do have bash2 installed if that means anything.

Actually, anyone with a working urxvt version for Diablo? I wouldn't mind trying that out.

If not, a simple way to hack Xterm's colors would be good enough.

For those who think that I'm just being weird with such a strange request, let me validate that.

I'm trying to get Xterm colors to look the same as MS-DOS.

Here's a screen of it in Xterm. Notice the baby diaper, piss and puke sinus infection yellow coloring. Pretty gross. The cool thing though is that the cursor appears as an underline when needed.



Here's a screen of it in mrxvt. I can get the proper coloring but the cursor is a hot mess. It won't underline and I can't get a handle on the coloring for it and the character beneath it. With Xterm, it automatically accepts the color the server provides.


Just looking for any ideas from one of you monkeys.

Is there no file that I can edit using Emelfm2 to alter the default color codes that are displayed in Xterm?

Well, I found what I was looking for.

Qwerty's port of Roxterm and changing the color scheme to GTK did the trick.
