Hey there everyone!

I was wondering where I can get a desktop cradle charger for the N900... I've searched everywhere and can't really find any...


As for cases, I want to share some links for you guys.

I have ordered it and I hope it'll get here soon. I got one for my N97 and it was above average but not the best.

This might be the most interesting case because it's the only case that I saw on ebay that doesn't have a magnetic closure plus you can customize it!

Just get a new battery and a desktop charger. That's what I got. 2 original batteries and one charge by the phone and one charge by the third party charger.

the problem with a dock as you show there phyneex is the position of the charger.
the n900 power comes from the left hand side (near the earpiece) so the device would be upside down according to the ui - not the best (unless you are in aus)

i did a quick mockup last week for a stand (its in use now), i am looking at how to solve the charger problem and will get round to making myself a proper dock soon.

You are absolutly right! I guess we should all wait for the firmware update which will auto- rotate in 3-4 directions...

But honestly, i don't mind if it's upside down... instead of always looking for the charger plug and plug it, i just want to slide it in a desktop craddle charger.

I was also hoping for a charging stand.

I think I'd like mine to be "landscape" where N900 slides into it from the side and thus plugs into the charging connector. Lanyard may get in the way though (I use one on mine, a wrist-strap, more than a lanyard, really).

Or have it in your car so you would not need to charge it on the desk (if you travel to work by car)

Interesting... I'll seriously consider it, thanks!

I will have to modify it for desktop use (I commute by train), and the best bit would be if I could move it between desk and car as needed. Maybe mounting it on a suction pad support? I'll look into that.

I've once seen a desk made from the front of the (old) Mini. Maybe that's the way forward?
