When I look at the plugins that are installed in the standard browser I see a "Nokia MessageBus Plugin" installed. (open browser -> open a page -> open menu -> choose Options -> choose Add-ons -> choose Plug-ins)

I cannot find information about what this plugin does.

I am hoping that this plugin provides an API to dbus that I can access via javascript.

Does anyone know where I can find more information about this plugin?

Both plugins come from package nokia-maps-core. I don't see any docs but you can peek at /usr/lib/microb-engine/components/StartupLatch.js and various files under /usr/share/nokia-maps/html to see how they're used from JavaScript
