I think it would be really nice to have a smaller more transparent option for the online keyboard so you can see what you are typing into and the surrounding area.

Ideally it should be intelligent and if the input is on the left of the screen, bring the keyboard up only on the right side as individual opaque buttons and vice versa for the left. In portrait mode it would be at the top/bottom.

I think it can be done without reducing the space too much ... just basic (customisable) keys with only a slightly smaller area to activate, but smaller icons so you can see behind them a bit.

I am mainly thinking of it for when using with a stylus, with the keyboard closed. There should also be a button that takes you to the full keypad.
