My USB is broke and I'm going to have to send it in for repair...The repair service though says to backup everything as the phone will be wiped in the repair process.

Not that fussed about the apps and stuff but there is alot of contact info and I can't find an option to save them to the SIM!

Will I have to do this manually....please no!!!!!!!!!

Or send the backup file over the air (WLAN, 3G) to your desktop.

You can also use bluetooth to sync to a pc if you have one about? Also send contacts as vcards if that helps but backup to microsd is quick and thorough!
