Finally (after the help of tuomas with gstreamer shoutcast plugin) I've put Qice in extras-devel a little pyqt application which can be used to stream audio and video to an icecast server, i've tested and it runs fine.




test required...

thank you for that application.

Unfortunately it segfaults under PR1.3.

[2|user@N900-51-1|/opt/qice]/opt/qice/qice.py
configuracio trobada
Segmentation fault

I'll upload this "patch" to repo when I can do it, sorry... I promise feedback. If you want to hack yourself you have to patch /opt/qice/qice.py with the attachment file. (you have to find "patch" package before or write yourself).

And I suppose that everything will be fine. I have tested and segfault doesn't occur.

If you can't do it, tell me something.

Anther patch with the same gloop, without preview (commented), and less quality, and portrait supported.

I can't start app from shortcut, but I can start it via terminal.

/home/user/MyDocs # python qice.py
configuracio trobada
Maemo applications must be run with the run-standalone.sh script!
qice.py:667: Warning: g_object_get: assertion `G_IS_OBJECT (object)' failed
app=QtGui.QApplication(args)
QGtkStyle was unable to detect the current GTK+ theme.

This is what I get in console when I start Qice

Hi ... Try running it without root please . If it works then run:
cp /home/user/MyDocs/qice.py /opt/qice/qice.py
And then you can run it from menu...
Hope it works
