Only if there's a nice little GUI

Yeah this would be very nice and GUI shouldn't be too hard to make for someone that knows python.

what happens to the callers of the blocked calls? do they get a busy ringtone or get diverted to voicemail? or we could record a message telling them not to call again?

I'd like to have that configurable... though in my case I just want a busy ringtone.

I tried this script and it works. The only annoying part is that it still leaves a missed call dialog. I would prefer for it to be completely invisible for me. The caller got a busy signal.

yeah it would be great as I ignore a lot of phone calls from certain people, and hate when i get the notification and even worse when they leave me a voicemail. this is something Android seems to solve pretty well with a 'black list' option in the settings menu.

Sounds like an excellent app. The endless possibilities are incentives for me to learn python only if this was part of my paid work ...
