Im pretty satisfied with the n900 as an internet-tablet as well as a device in general but i was thinking about getting a second phone for a more everyday use.I was thinking about going with the HTC Magic, its small and compact and the os is quite nice.Any feedback on this or any other recommendations?

How about E71/E72? Incredible battery life for a smartphone. I have E71 and N900, great pair!

Apparently u`ve missunderstood me .I need 2 phones because i travel a lot.For example i`ll use my n900 for watching movies, browsing the net, gaming, using skype and stuff like that i cant really rely on its battery because it gets drained fast.So instead of wasting my battery on calls and sms,i`ll get a second phone,a cheaper one,and probably with Google Maps ^^.
I`ll check the E71 dcman,thx for the recommendation .

If you want to stay with Nokia touchsceen on something less expensive that you feel safe taking down the pub, how about the Nokia 5800 or if really on a budget 5230. No WiFi on the latter but does have GPS and free worldwide nav with the Ovi Maps so no need to get lost on your travels - bit of a bargain at under £100 on Vodafone PAYG.

The E71 is a great phone, and the battery life is remarkable. Or you could get a E72, it's probably easier nowadays.

Go E52/E55 - excellent phones with integrated gps, very long-lasting battery. E51 w/o gps.
