There are two time/date pickers on the N900 - the initial, pretty one when you replace the SIM/initialise the device, with the analog clock, shaded rollers and day of the week display, and the much-less attractive, much-less able one you get every other time...

Is it possible to hook the libraries so the "better" time/date picker is called all the time? Just having the day of the week visible when setting new appointments would be a great improvement.

I agree, there are some nice features and effects in that startup wizard, which the rest of the device doesn't use.
