Man I quite disappointed that the N900 camera became so bad at night recording at the balloon festival last night. I got to say the sound is great but the quality of the video is terrible.

Pixelated and dark...

I'm uploading it now.. I'll post the link very soon.

The file is so compressed that the quality reduced to almost 3x smaller than the N95 video.

It doesn't work with PS3 at all. N95-1 used to work like a charm..

some expensive digicams are pretty poor at night in recording quality also, but even in daylight the n900s video recording is annoyingly very jumpy-never smooth, and that gives me a headache! im hoping an eventual official update might fix that, and possibly improve on its nightcam recording quality to boot. not keeping my hopes up as im not sure how dedicated nokia are at updating their latest systems, this n900 is my first nokia device. good camera, good video player, good phone, good internet device, good portable games device, average video recorder

yes very very patience right now!!
Just very disappointed in my N900 capability that's all. My N95 did better at night and the camera unit is 3years older.

Doesn't the N95 have Xeon flash? While the N900 has Dual LED? Though that's for pictures, not video so there shouldn't be a difference in video..

no the Nokia N82 is the only nokia with a xeon flash
