Is it possible for those apps that have been rebuilt/ updated using SDK1.2 to be flagged as such in some way? (Or are all new app releases at the moment being built with it?) If so it would be good info to have as then we wouldn't try and update/ install until after the firmware update - thus leading to less people worrying about why they can't update certain apps... Just a thought...

All packages that are uploaded to the Extras autobuilder are built against the PR1.2 SDK. This means that all updates that have not been in testing already will be built against the PR1.2 SDK, leading to the well-known dependency issues (although not every package build yields an incompatible package - most Python-based applications don't, for example).
