Hi ive been trying to download the pr1.1.1 firmware to reflash my beloved n900 but every time i try i get to a maximum of 10mb and it stops, ive tried neumerous times but it just wont go past this point, i have cookies enabled and everything else i try to download from other places works fine.
I could realy use some help here as i cant stand seeing my n900 like this
Does anyone know an alternative location i can download it from.
Thanks

why not try to download pr 1.1 instead then reflash, the pr1.1.1 would be naturally updated over the air after youve reflashed

Use wget or a download manager or pause and then resume the download every time it stalls if you're using Firefox.
Also, some might argue that if you can't work around a dodgy network connection to a download server you shouldn't really be reflashing a device, but hey.

I dont have a choice reflashing is the only option i have left as it wont boot up ive tried pausing and resuming it works a few times but so far the furthest ive got is 9.8mb, and anyway im a great believer in learning by doing.

After pausing and resuming a few times i get this message,

C:\Users\Vicky&Matt\Downloads\RX-51_2009SE_3.2010.02-8_PR_COMBINED_MR0_ARM.bin.part could not be saved, because the source file could not be read.

Try again later, or contact the server administrator.

As you've all probably noticed im no computer expert, but i have no choice but to sort this out, i find it strange that i can download fine from everywhere else ive tried' does anyone know if there is an alternative location i can get the firmware from
