Host mode is now working without a kickstart PC!
Expect a release soon (as soon as the GUI is done and the kernel is packaged)

Theoretically, yes, if you had on your N900 the appropriate print drivers and applications with the option to print.

Out of curiosity, is the kernel going to be Titan-based? (ie. Will those of us who want Host Mode USB & Overclocking going to have to choose?)

Now, if only it would become possible to plug in a USB DAC to get digital audio output, I would have zero need for my laptop......

t-tan might add it to the kernel-power kernel, if we do it as a separate kernel both kernels should have the option, but one wouldn't have overclocking (which I personally don't want )

Well, even if you don't personally want overclocking, you can still flash a kernel that is capable of it. Just don't enable that capability.

I am personally looking forward to the power-user kernel with joikuspot capability, MMC fixes, and now USB host mode patches.

I'm still waiting for the other shoe to drop, however. Why did the N900 team decide to lock this capability away from us? What do we not know yet?
