Most probably not.

e: browser is closed source, and from what I know so is flash

Since flash is closed source, only adobe developpers can port it to maemo.
But if we can get Android with fully working HW accelerated graphics, may be that it will be possible on N900

they already showed off a video of the N900 with flash 10.1 and hw accelerated graphics

Go ahead. I started a thread there asking a long time ago. Noone is going to answer you here or on Adobe with a real answer it will just be finger pointing by us forum members.
Last I remember CEO of Adobe responded with June 17 on the video response to Steve Jobs poo pooing flash.

Android doesn't have a conventional linux ui stack so it probably is impossible to hack into working on maemo.

Dj steve that is hacking droid stated that flash 10.1 could work on the n900 but with the driod os so i guess we could get it on the n900 but it would be with a andriod boot.
