Are you technically confident enough to be able to set up an x86 chroot and install qemu following my howto I posted on this forum?

There is a programme called "Avantix Traveller".
It is available for purchase here:
http://www.tsoshop.co.uk/bookstore.a...=9780117068537
and you can download a "reduced price" version here:
http://www.faresmanual.co.uk/NFM/NFM05.zip
What it is, as far as I understand, is a database of all the rail fares in the UK along with a simple .exe programme which is an interface to that information.
I've never been able to use it because I'm a Mac user and it's written for Windows.
I have seen on another forum someone saying that they have run it without problem on a Linux system under "Wine". I don't know much about Wine but I gather it is some kind of quasi-Windows emulator and I vaguely remember seeing a thread on here where someone had got it running on the N900.
I imagine that the "Avantix Traveller" programme is pretty simple and therefore not too resource-hungry, so would possibly be usable even if running on quite a slow set-up.
If there is some way of getting this to work on the N900 that would be great because:
1) I can use it!
2) Not only could I use it but use it on the go which would be very useful.
