If you do a backup, reflash and restore, the app manager will allow you to restore all previously installed apps, in fact giving you a choice which ones you do reinstall.

Is there a way to get a list of installed applications?
Important: I'm not talking about all installed packages, I want just the packages that I've manually installed. I don't want to have the dependencies either.
This way I will just reinstall them later, after flashing.
Help improve N900, vote for:
Information about what the email client is doing
Find applications easily with tags for sub-menus
A better help system
Limit download of emails per connection type (don't fetch attachments)
A better use of internal flash
