Dear Maemo Community,

I noticed today a strange change of the curve in the BatteryGraph. Have a look yourself:

You see that it suddenly used more energy then before without any reason, the phone was idle at that time. Also the CPU was sometimes in use even if only Skype and MSN were running.

Here you see a htop screenshot sorted by time:

- What exactly is this logfile doing there? Can I disable it?
- What does bme_RX-51?
- What is skyhost doing there?

Help would be welcome

there is nothing you (or we) can do with the information you provide

ill try to explain myself

1) the "logfile" you see in that line is not the most relevant part, but "xorg" is. Thats the program that lets your phone to draw the visual part of your phone. If your phone is locked and the screen is black, the xorg is at 0% (almost). So it leads the list because the phone has a lot of "drawing" work

2) the bme_rx-51 is a part of the Battery Management Entity by the wiki.

3) Skyhost is the Skype daemon. Its there because you have a skype account. The more you use it, the more it hugs your phone

So, there is nothing wrong with your phone yet.

4) About your battery graphic, As Far As I Can Remember, the green line is the Voltage meter, and it is regulated by the electronics in the device.

Not because it can go up, but because its hard to meter, so it is an aproximation

hope this helps
