Can someone point me to the thread where it mentions step by step vodafone uk fMMS settings? And do i need additional software (ie to create some access points) or not?

whenever i use fmms (latest one as of now) it just says "Sending" and stays there. Maybe it's because my wifi is on and not vodafone internet/mms? Do i need to turn wifi off? i mean sounds dumb, but i really dont know.

still not working here, this is the 3rd time ive installed this, it just says sending, but 30mins of this is getting a bit boring, need vodafone settings, the wiki settings are already the default for me

After a reflash this will not work, I have the settings from the wiki but no joy.

The wiki mentions being able to input your phone number, this option does not exist so is the wiki out of date or is my fmms defective?

DOH! sorted, all settings entered must be lower case. also helps to get the access point name correct too.......

i'm getting the below for "Vodafone UK":

Operation failed
(101, 'Network is unreachable')
Please check your settings.

In Settings i don't see any place where i can type the following as per Wiki

* Connection Name: Vodafone MMS
* Connection Type: Packet Data
* Prompt password at every login: unchecked
* Use Proxy: checked (yes)
* Phone Number: (Your Phone Number)

i can see everything else.

Question 1: do i have to define an access point elsewhere?
Question 2: do i need to have some active connection before using fmms?
Question 3: can someone post some 'how to configure' screenshots?

I have vodafone uk, fmms works fine on havoc mode... what mode are you guys using?

umm i guess i didn't read something. I selected Havoc and now it works. magic,

Mine has only ever worked on havoc, glad it works, can be frustrating to get it running, but it is a great app if u like mms, always works for me without fail...

Using the latest version i cant get it to retrieve messages, it says downloading mms, for about 2-3 minutes then says unable to retrieve message, while this is happening the little loading symbol is blinking in the top bar, connected to my gprs connection, using the fmms settings from the wiki
