i'm looking for such function too, but can find any solutions.
one option probably is to import it to some other calendar such as google calendar or your desktop calendar and then sync with you handheld device.

Send the ics file to your device by any means that seems appropriate and try to open it. You should be given the option to open with calendar, as per the holidays import mentioned in the wiki linked to in my sig.

from my works email client I can export the calendar information in .ics or .csv format.
Does anyone know of a way to import this information into the N900 standard calendar app. Is there another calendar app that will accept imported details?
Ideally I'd like to import the info into the built-in calendar as I've just started using the desktop widget that came out a couple of days ago.
