Hi,

I've just setup Nokia Messaging on my N900 (PR1.2), working with my gmail account. It's working pretty well.

However I've noticed with the incoming e-mail notification (sound, led, popup), it seems to only work when I have my screen locked/blank only.

Is that intentional? Or is there a setting somewhere that I'm not aware of? I was expecting it would work like incoming SMS/IM.

There's "Incoming notifications" check box, mine's checked and I get notifications even while I'm using another app than email.

Hi,

I have that option checked too. It turned out after a reboot the problem went away. One of those things I guess...
