N97 is one of the better stock phones idiots in suits offer the oblivious masses at crappy provider stores.
I still can't believe it has been marketed as "flagship device" by Nokia not too long ago, and obviously enough people fell for it.

as a N97 user I wonder, will there be an update path for this device to Maemo or MeeGo? When googling I see a lot of folks who wonder the same thing. It would be so great. And the N97 has a real compass what the N900 does not have, thus has better navigation.
