Hi guys I m in Beijing and i really need a good software to translate in Chinese otherwise i m gonna be lost here :-)

please suggest me something

there are some dictionaries, one of them is based or opt'ed stardict that supports a lot of dictionaries. so you it and use the search in the forums =)

Use google translator :P if you have the net.

oh lol stardict in extra can do that if you add dictionary database to it. But the translate will not be in a sentence, it will be in word.

but i m using it and i didn t find any chinese working dictionary :-(

Buy a pocket dictionary. No need for internet and you'll learn much more.

Mine was 2.5USD and has served me well.

Don't forget phototranslator. Take a photo of text and it will translate it to a chosen language. only any good for printed stuff like menu's timetables, maps, signs etc.
Still a useful tool.
Actually you can type in a chosen language and it will show you an output in the translated language in the pane beside it, but i think it does need a internet connection.

mmm was just looking for some dictionary for mstardict . . anyone using it??
