There was found a bug:yandex.maps uses 100% CPU power. It results in VERY fast battery draining.

Yesterday Yandex introduced mobile version of yandex.maps( I use the word "maps" instead of russian translation for easier understanding) for maemo5 pr1.2.
Features:
- shows traffic jams on the map
- supports A-GPS. Can show/follow your location
- map/satellite view
- portrait mode
You can install from yandex repo by downloading this .install file.
You can download and put cached Moscow maps from here.
There is also a site with many other cities for russian speaking people(there's a worldwide map,but it's not detailed).
Downloaded cached maps should be put in /home/user/MyDocs/yandexmaps/cache
