I've noticed, that problem mainly affects keys mapped to shift + blue arrow + key (lvl 4 keys from maemo hardware keyboard mapping). It also may have something in common with things like dead_tilde, dead_accucte, etc - characters, that - upon invoking - doesn't produce a ready-to-go character, yet, affect character pressed after. Those are only ones that PResence VNC got problem with.

As for other keys, it seems that it *does* respect Maemo keyboard mapping. In any case, option "bluetooth keyboard" in rDesktop, that I've suggested to analyze, allow usage of such characters in mention program (without it, it also doesn't work, like in PresenceVNC).

I hope it helps in tracking down the issue - also, thanks for Your continued support for PresenceVNC, despite- probably - limited time! It's absolutely best VNC client for Maemo.

works flawless on n9 and n900 , I can also connect to n900 from n9 and vice versa .

Later edit : I managed it to work by adding 5900 to port forward in router .

pVNC is ridiculously adept. A superb piece of software! However, if requests are open, I would prefer to be able to change the bandwidth/compressions settings more accurately than three pre-determined toggles.

how did anyone install the N9 version? Am riddled with dependency problems, and the RZR repo does not have them

Sure, why not!

Would be nice if you could add your name to the Maintainer field and the credits, since I really have no clue about the N9/950.
Also note that the snapshot is essentially identical to 0.8, functionality-wise, even though it says 0.9.

Anyone up for the challenge of rewriting QAbstractKineticScroller for Harmattan? I might have a go at it but the results will probably be disastrous... Hmmm...

i need help. i have installed presence vnc from ovi store. i connect the desktop via ultra vnc server. the problem is this. i can't click on the icon. i cant use the mouse.
what i have to do?
