1-the folder gngeo 0.7 down here http://prdownload.berlios.de/gngeo/gngeo2x_0.7.zip and down http://prdownload.berlios.de/gngeo/gngeo.dat and extract into mydocs n900 , into a new folder neogeo (for example)

2-down xgngeo 16-2 https://garage.maemo.org/frs/downloa...16-2_armel.deb and install

3- down neogeo bios http://www.emulatronia.com/emus/cons...geo/neogeo.zip and drivers file

http://www.emulatronia.com/emus/cons...geo/neogeo.drv

4- bios and drivers file into neogeo folder

5- open xgngeo in n900 and select where is the bios that it is in neogeo folder put open option and ok.

6- drivers file into folder neogeo/romrc.d

7-and neogeo executable that is file gngeo that it is into neogeo folder

8-the games zipped into the roms

this three options will have a green point , when all do it ok,

and you can play neogeo games in your nokia n900

any persons reported :

-that gngeo executable colour are red and not green and never start any game

-that he can play normally

sry but your instructions are hard to follow.

Edit: Also the link with the neogeo drivers file seems to be broken.

Neither the bios files nor the gngeo binary delivered by these instructions show as valid in the xgngeo config dialog.

I can get it to recognize the drivers (found from google) and that dot does turn green but the others stay red when pointed at the bios and binary files specified in the first post's instructions.

It would be pretty easy to find alternate bios files that would work better, but unless someone can offer up a different gngeo binary we're just spinning our wheels.

Maybe the binary from the xgngeo package for OS2008 would work...

Apparently it is because gngeo always segfault when launched.

the big problem i think are that the emulator doesn`t know gngeo executable file.

if this will run well , emulator will run secure.
