I have just tried installing n900ipv6 to support the ipv6 GPRS stack from T-Mobile. When I installed it, all other connections have disappeared.

Specifically, the n900ipv6 package executes
gconftool-2 -s -t string /system/osso/connectivity/IAP/GPRSv6/type GPRSv6
gconftool-2 -s -t string /system/osso/connectivity/IAP/GPRSv6/name 'GPRS' ipv6

Once that has executed, if I go to Internet Connections it only shows the GPRS ipv6 connection.

If I deinstall it

gconftool-2 --recursive-unset /system/osso/connectivity/IAP/GPRSv6

and either killall icd2 or reboot, then I get no connections listed at all

However, if I run
gconftool-2 --all-dirs /system/osso/connectivity/IAP

I get 70 lines of output.

If I go to Settings .. Internet Connections ... Connections ...

It lists a long list of WiFi and other APN connections.

Any ideas on how to get my WiFi and APN connections to show back up when I attempt to do a connection?

Update:

Doing a little more exploring, I've found that I can reconnect to my home wifi using

dbus-send --type=method_call --system --dest=com.nokia.icd /com/nokia/icd com.nokia.icd.connect string:d36c64ce-6072-4b25-83d7-b5e4e3768f6b uint32:0

However, the list of available WiFi connections still does not show up.
