My N900 has had its run of networks recently. Vodafone barred my sim temporarily so I was using T-Mobile and am now using O2 as they are offering good Pay as You Go deals atm. The problem is that on O2's network my stupid N900 keeps displaying a message saying my current balance after EVERY text!!!

I send a text and a message pops up saying

"Your Balance is £10.00" or whatever my balance is.

Please help this message is really starting to annoy me!!!

Have you tried contacting O2?

My phone was received through a Vodafone contract. O2 don't actually sell the N900 so I doubt they will have any clue.

I am using O2 as Vodafone currently barred my contract because of some misunderstanding with payments.

I might try O2 but does anyone know a way to disable this message in maemo?

Get in touch with O2 and tell them to stop sending you flash messages.

I get these on GiffGaff (it uses the 02 network)

I can disable the option online. Maybe you can do the same on 02?
