I bought a PDF copy of a book today, all totally legit and on my laptop using acrobat the book displays fine. Copying it to my n900 and opening it, I get prompted for the password. I don't get prompted for a password on my laptop - I really wanted this as a portable reference guide, and Im now a bit stuck.
I emailed the author to ask if there was a password, but he replied that is is in a secure digital format that shouldn't need a password.
Im presuming that this is an adobe thing?
Im stumped, why does my n900 ask for a password, but my laptop doesn't - is it because Im using a open source alternative to acrobat and is there a way round it?
