How come we don't have this app on n900?? http://store.ovi.com/content/56104?clickSource=search#

Also the aaas science.org app for scientific new. Why don't we have it??

Because we have such a good web browser it makes this kind of thing redundant?

Or use GRead RSS reader

Because we recognise that it is utterly stupid to have a specific RSS reader for each RSS feed that exists.

Entering "Scientific American RSS" in Firefox's url/ "awesome bar" opened this page directly:

Scientific American : RSS feeds

Pick which of their feeds you want from there.

I'm sure that if you did the same thing for any of the other similar "apps" that showed up on that OVI link from the OP, you'd get similar results.

As the others have noted, Maemo 5 comes with a quite reasonable generic RSS reader included and there are several other alternatives available - no need for site-specific RSS apps.

Thank you for the replies. I will have to check the rss reader. I probably just got carried away by their iphone app's ads.

Also check out the FeedingIt app as an alternative to the Nokia-supplied RSS reader.
