Well I have a question.

Basically I have both the Nokia N8 and Nokia N900.

I have a pay monthly Sim in my N8 with unlimited internet and I wondered if there was a way of sharing the internet connection with my N900 (without downloading JoikuSpot).

Basically, I like the internet on my N8 because of traffic updates in OVI Maps and other apps which use the internet for different reasons. However, the Internet on the N900 is also preferable because of emailing, web-browsing etc.

So can I share my internet connection from my N8 to N900 (ideally over bluetooth)?

I wouldn't mind if the N900 could share its internet connection with the N8. I have tried MobileHotspot, but it doesn't work. Joikuspot- I have heard negative things about. So what can I do?

It would be great if you could help.

Thanks.

Yes you are able to share you N73's GPRS connection Via bluetooth or the Cable

You can do this Via PC suite , or manually creating a Dial up connection with the gprs access point and Login user name and password

I'd suggest using Nokia PC Suite , it does everything automatically .

We would like to use the N900 to access internet on our other mobile devices (or vica versa). Connecting to the internet on a PC via the N900 is not the problem.

@Kevin not sure what problems you have with Joikuspot

my son has Joikuspot on his E63 ( the paid version). It is wonderful. dont bother with the freebie version as its not secure. we got it for 5 Euros as a promotion.

We have had three or four devices sharing his 3g including my N900 for hours of surfing and not had any probs.
