Dear fellow maemo fans,

So today it happend, my usbport came lose (it just fell out). Now i want to sent it back to nokia care in the netherlands but unfortunatly like many of you, i overclocked to titan's kernel.

Is there any way i can revert everything back to stock settings, without leaving a trace for the guys at nokia?

well in the first place you havent fried your mainboard, the fault lies with the usb . 2ndly its a development fone.. just as nokia said step 4/5.. hence your usage of power kernel signifies your development intentions.. you are only liable if you fry your processor which aint the case here.. last but not the least nokia repair guys are ******s ..they only know how to flash..reflash or check the hardware issue..they cant differentiate between custom and stock symbian fw forget undsting a linux device.. just give em da darn device and everything will be fine..trust me..have indepth experience in dealing with em.. no matter wah country..they all da same

Yes, i agree with tusharmax, i sent mine in last month, overclocked and all and once they are finished they upgrade and reflash...i really dont think that they are bothered or interested if you are OC or not. Just back up all your data before sending it in becuase it comes back vanilla and empty.

1. Launch xterminal
2. sudo gainroot (assuming you have rootsh installed)
3. apt-get install --reinstall kernel kernel-flasher
4. reboot

Then
settings - Dropdown menu - Restore Original Settins/ Clear Device
