last night i left my N900 on the edge of the bed forgetting it could fall down and the same happens
i know i am being too dramatical but seriously i love my phone
well my touch screen working fine , the vibration and camera and the mic , these things i have checked and as i am feeling extreme guilty i need some consoladation , what else should i check to confirm that my phone is working the sane

get health check from application manager and check all the things for xample dead pixle, pinter test ,sensor,r etc...!!!!!

i think this is what the healthcheck app is for.

Run healthcheck

And don't worry, it most likely dented the floor instead of affecting itself

my n900 has fallen on the floor many many times .. still working perfect dont worry i think your phone is just fine

so i guess the the lesson learned is: "if you want a thing done well, do it yourself"

Mine felt already trough the stairs around 2 floors down and it had no damage at all :P

thanks everyone and yeah i have seen the drop test but you know when you love one thing you need some strong statements to belive somethig regarding that thing :P

I dropped mine out of the car when it was open, it wouldn't close again, I had to bash it against the car to close it.
It now "hyper" extends. Still works perfectly!
When I open it, it opens upto 5mm more than its supposed to on the right hand side. You can see the bottom PCB..

NOTHING wrong with it. I love my N900!
