I would like a program that will automaticly download and apply images from Flickr as walpapers.
The user would define the search parameters (keywords, dimensions, aspect ratios, licensing etc, with option of ignoring some parameters the user chooses to), the duration between changes, things like whether to redimension images to fit or respect the original aspect ratio, whether to use only on individual desktops or spread (respecting aspect ratio or rescaling to fit in different ways), whether to always scale to fit height, or width, or the fit whole in the screen, whether to use mobile network or only WiFi to download, what to do if the new image is the same as the old one (repeat or use the next search result); wheter to repeat/mirror the image if it is too small or to use a solid color background outside; when not using the same image on all screens whether to use different searches or just different search results with the same parameters and individual display para eters for each screen; anmd anything else people might find usefull.
Ideally it wouldn't be running all the time, instead it would have somthing like crond fire it up at the set times.
Also it would be nice to have a widget that the user can place (one for each screen) that would display the info the user chooses about the pic, with an option to work as a webshortcut to thee Flickr page of the image being used on that screen when clicked on.
