so lets start

Configure Appearance

Taskbar appearance..
hold mouse on the taskbar and go to "panel preferences" then select appearance tab and select image "background.png" i.e
usr/share/lxpanel/background.png (we are in this folder by default)

Start menu logo..
to change the logo of start menu go to the same panel preferences and select "panel applets" tab.. now in the list click on "menu" and press the edit button in the right and select the logo(png) you want make sure image(png) size is 36x36...

Window style..
go to start-menu/preference and select "openbox configuration manager" you will see a lot of window styles in themes
the one i have chosen is "Onyx-black"..

To Configure Sound in LXDE

In order to initialize sound on a fresh installation of Easy Debian, open XTerminal and do:

Code:
debbie
xmms2d -o pulse
Leave that running, open a second XTerminal session and do:

Code:
debbie lxmusic

Launch LXDE applications in Maemo... Or Debbie Commands

open XTerminal(NOT AS ROOT) and type:

Gimp
Code:
debbie gimp

uget download manager (needs installation)
WARNING - U NEED TO SPECIFY FILE SAVE LOCATION OR YOU WILL LOOSE ALL THE SPACE IN "HOME" AND ".DEBIAN"...
what works for me is
"/home/user/MyDocs/downloads"
open xterm n type
Code:
debbie uget-gtk

pcman file manager (i personally feel its better then maemo filemanager)... coz its multi-tab, Supports Portrait orientation, we can enable hidden-files, thumbnails,image-viewer/slide show, and can play music if we set "aqualung" as default audio player, and same goes for videos if Vlc or Smplayer is installed EDIT - Portrait mode supported
Code:
debbie pcmanfm
Name: pcman.jpg

File Searching( in maemo) "its really a bliss"
Code:
debbie pcmanfm --find-files
as it starts in " /home/user/ " by default we need to add location where to search.. by clicking star(add) then browse where you want to search or "All local disc partition"..
Supports Hidden files & folder search, and again we can launch audio(aqualung), images and videos(vlc or smplayer) from here too, OR just hold click on a file and select open
or we can open the file location in "pcman file manager"

EDIT - Almost All of Debbie App's Supports "Portrait Mode"

Hope its Helpful...
