Dear all,
I'm trying to access-in to my sudo via TerminalX but it'll prompt with text as below:
"password"

This is the command i key in:
sudo gedit /etc/hosts

My question: this i have a password and how i can retreive it?

short version:
either start a root shell via "sudo gainroot" or "root", then just type "gedit /etc/hosts", or edit the files in /etc/sudoers.d to activate sudo for the "user" account.
