The N800 should work pretty well in direct sunlight. Just stick to audiobooks.

I remember fondly that my Rocket ebook allowed me to read rather easily even outdoors in daylight - but its weight is huge compared to today's devices.
Next I bought a Hiebook which I didnt love at all.
Last, my 770 in current usage is perfect indoors, but useless under daylight, even at max contrast.
I'm starting to believe that a perfect device doesnt exist.
What do you think? What about the Sony Reader?
