Interesting indeed... could this be a proto of the next model in the internet tablet series (not necessarily a direct replacement of N800)? I would think that it would be better to have the d-pad on the top cover. In this proto the qwerty is not aligned with the screen which at least at the beginning would be kind of awkward. Wonder what that gap on the left top side of the device could be?
