The fine people at osso just released a test version of the Mozilla based browser they're working on. It supports flash, other extensions to some extent, and is completely open source.

It doesn't completely replace Opera but currently makes itself default so everything opens in it. For details: http://browser.garage.maemo.org/

Tip: To enable the "default browsing switcher menu", to be able to switch to Opera, close all instances of the web browser, and edit /home/user/.browser and make "hidden=true"
