I need a script to take photos automatically at fixed intervals with geo-tagging enabled. This is so that I can create Photosets in Photosynth.

Have you CSSU installed?

The new camera app. Cameraui2) has timer build in.
You can choose between 3,6,10,15 and 20 sec. It has also Geotagging support.

No, you dont get what I want. Time Lapse photography basically means it will keep on taking photos at intervals (of say, 5 secs) until we stop it. So, we can just carry it around without clicking it continously.
The one you mentioned is timer. It takes only one photo after a fixed time.

For the record: whilst interval-O-meter will not do the geo-tagging, it can be made to work by creating a directory "/home/user/MyDocs/interval". The program then can save the jpegs.

Usage: the key to the gui is knowing that the three columns of numbers respectively represent hours, minutes and seconds. Self=start delay; Int=interval; long=duration of action???; frames=no. of shots.

Below is a "trigger" button that causes the camera to focus/take exposure??, I think...

Program uses gst-tools and AFACS does not interface with the camera-ui. There are purportedly plugins but I suspect they are not functional. A plugin such as IR may explain the variable "long" as presently with gstreamer it does nothing more than add to the time of "Int".

For what it is worth - seems like lapsed WIP. Pity.
