The mplayer on N900 can support rmvb file playback.

The default player seems cannot support rmvb format.

Is there a video player on N9 that support RMVB or AVC(mp4) format playback ?

KMPlayer is available, though I haven't yet tried it myself. I presume it will handle the same formats the Maemo5 version.

I had installed kmplayer and it does not support RMVB/AVC so far...

I tried the mplayer ported from N900 here :

http://talk.maemo.org/showthread.php?t=80031

It is usable, though still a little buggy.

Surely KMPlayer will support the same formats as mplayer, so long as you select mplayer as the backend?

Yes, now I use kmplayer as the frontend and mplayer as the backend.

But there is one problem:

On N900, In SiB (another frontend for mplayer), I can enable the "framedrop" function by clicking "Ctrl + D".

As we all know, N9 does not have a HW keyboard like N900/N950,

So it is impossible to do this,

It is necessary to add a "Drop Frame" button in kmplayer.

Besides, I do not know what is the "+" button for ? Is this a framedrop button already ? It seems not.
