I see new firmware for Nokia N9 from NaviFirm : version 22.2011.44-2 . Is this PR1.2 ?

I think this is just a small hotfix patch for PR1.1 for certain devices.

PR1.2 will most likely follow traditional Nokia protocol most likely and have a new number, something like: 30.20XX.XX-X

Well Nokia do at least know how to build a decent phone, just apparently don't know how to support it..

Are you sure? Why shouldn't we install this on our N9's?

This is apparently PR1.1.1, and it has a few minor fixes, but apparently has picture posting for twitter. Only available on MEA (Middle east and Africa) variants for now, it seems.

You're free to attempt to flash your device with it, but I wouldn't recommend it. If it's successful, and you have issues afterward, you won't be able to go back to PR1.1

EDIT: Looking at the release notes, it looks like the twitter and other app updates are being pushed separately, PR1.1.1 is soely to add Arabic VKB support.

damn 1.1.1 is out for mea and i still don't have 1.1 for singtel branded D:

It's just 1.1 + Arabic support, people with locked phones there will still be waiting.
Bummer that you got a locked phone, you could be waiting a while.
I never buy mine on contracts, but it can be different in other countries I guess.
I thought Singapore would be excellent value buying outright though?

anyone here tried this update?i have this update thru NSU but i didnt try it yet.i flashed mine few days ago...if i install this update it will delet my app installed like when i flashed??? sorry for my poor english

Make a backup just to be safe, if you have the update via nsu, then you might as well update it....

It will not delete your apps.

Somebody said that it will improve the message app which is good.
