Hi. I have installed a few applications on my 770, such as wifiinfo, minimo browser, diskusage, etc, that seem to have been installed properly, there was no errors or anything else to indicate a problem during the install, but when trying to run these apps, it will say WifiInfo - Loading in a top right box for about 10 seconds, and then the box will just disappear, but the app never really loads up.
The one similarity between these programs that do not work, is that their thumbnail icons all are four little grey and white squares with the top left one sticking up a bit, instead of the colorful icons of all of the other apps that do work correctly.
What does that mean? and how can I fix it.
Thanks.

Do you have xterm installed?

If so, try typing the commands from xterm e.g. minimo, wifiinfo etc

Let me know what you get!

Hi. when typing in minimo or wifinfo in xterm, this is what i get
-sh : minimo: not found

Do I need to type this after going into "root" or not ?? Or is there a command that I need to add with this ?

I get the same problem every once in a while, but a restart always helps.

Make sure your hostname did not change... chaigning the device hostname causes this type of behavior.

I've got a similar error, how do you change the hostname and what should it be?
