Hello dear Community,

every time I'm trying to charge my n900 with several wallwart chargers from Nokia it is starting to charge, but ending that after about 30s.
Charging with USB works without Problems, what could that be?

I have the same problem.

Did you find the cause of the problem ?

Try charge21.sh script by joerg_rw's/shadowjk's (search forum for it) while connected to charger, and report back terminal output. Also, bq27200.sh script from same authors may be helpful to determine, if wall charger is detected properly (via short on D+D- pins, that is factory-made on modern microUSB plug chargers)

charge21.sh needs i2cset wich seems to be part of the i2c-tools package, i can't find it!
Where do i get them?

from repositories, extras-devel. Also, You can download i2cset separately, from the same page where charge21.sh and bq27200.sh resides (one owned by shadowjk)

I looked for it on this side, you'll only find i2cget there, not i2cset, wich is also required for the charge21.sh script...

so follow my advice from few posts ago and install i2c-tools from extras-devel

apt-get install i2c-tools
from extras-devel (enable/add it in application manager)

charge21.sh will create a logfile in /home/user/MyDocs/charge.log which might be vaguely useful for troubleshooting charging issues.
