It still doesn't work for me after setting /home/user/.wallpapers as path. It's the same as before just a black background?

I don't have /home/user/.wallpapers folder
only
/home/user/MyDocs/.wallpapers

Do you have any wallpapers (.png) on /home/user/.wallpapers? If you do, here's a quick way to check if daemon runs manually:

First of all, remove /home/user/.meesaver, click on "Add to start-up", then enable Developer Mode, using X Term:

And see if it works that way or paste it's output here, if any If there's no useful output/it doesn't work, run this command on XTerm again (without root privs this time):

That's odd, it's the default wallpaper folder, you should have that. But if you don't, you can create that folder at /home/user/.wallpapers and copy your .PNG wallpapers, it should work okay

Still the black bachground after the codes in xterm and i don't have /home/user/.meesaver (did find it, but made no difference to delete it)? And yes I've got 4 png's in the folder.

That's odd. :| But It looks like your .meesaver still remains, you should delete it before those steps After removing that file running /opt/MeeSaver/bin/bin/meesaver.sh should print an "IOError: File not found, defaulting to .wallpapers and 60 seconds." and revert back to /home/user/.wallpapers/, where you should place .PNG files.

One thing though i can't seem to change the time interval. The sw keyboard doesn't appear when the seconds is pressed. I only get the copy/paste pop up when pressing the seconds field?

I second this

Looks like sometimes it misses clicks, keep clicking once or twice and it should pop-up I'll look into it to see if it's possible to get it's click area bigger.

When is the update coming along?

It's already released more than a day ago Latest version (1.1.1) is ready to download from Store. To make sure, it's recommended to remove /home/user/.meesaver after installing 1.1.1 but it's not required.
