HEY GUYZ

Okay so the N9 is an amazing device, but it sorely lacks support. I think that it would be epic to have instagram ported to Meego for the n9. It has already been ported from iOS to Android, so why not Meego?! This app coupled with the amazing N9 camera and face tagging recognition would be soooo killer!!

Official or unofficial app would be cool. Anyone interested in porting this app to meego, or rallying enough support to request an official app from instagram?

Also, what other cool apps are missing from meego? Lets make a plan to get em, we have an active community that is capable of amazing ****, take tgalal and his whatsapp port (I cannot wait for the app)!

There is an API on their site http://instagr.am/developer/

If your a developer, please check it out and let us know if this is possible.

There's even a Python library. Not sure what it means exactly but I have heard people on other forums talk about Python. https://github.com/Instagram/python-instagram

I would very much like to see this on the N9. Used it alot on my android/ios devices.

e: I really think the N9 lacks these kind of apps and the more that get ported the better imo.

There always is Molome as a decent Instagram alternative... already in the Store, works good even if with some bugs, and a lot of great photos to see!

Impossible, you can't port closed-source apps, and that api is for viewing photos already uploaded.

I have Molome, and It doesnt compare! It really sucks!!

So there is no way to port it to meego? Was whatsapp not a closed app as well? Just asking
