Its your device, you paid for it. You don't need Nokia permission, my permission, our Steve jobs permission to change it.

Okay, then just output:

cp -R /home/user/MyDocs/.themes/black-v2_3 /usr/share/themes/
​
8. Open Theme Changer. You should now see "black-v2_3" as an option. Select it.
9. Apply
10. OK
11. Reboot your device.

I loved the black plastic theme on the N900. Would it be possible to make a theme similiar to it?

The theme had more greys than blacks. If I'm being rediculous, just ignore me. I think my N900 nostalgia will always be strong. I miss Maemo 5. . .

hmm....it was good. i used it on all of my n900's as the foundation of a theme and then customized from there.

i think it had more of a silver, candy-type of button, but other then that,.....this theme black75, is just that.....black!!!

on a side note...i dont blame you for haveing the n900 nestaligia....i have it too...but love my n9....as will you.


now...imo, all black runs much smoother then the standard theme.

also, add the fastern9 to it, and you are smoking without even OC'in!

you can change the color of the battery and signal the status bar.
Maybe you could give color to a percentage rate of charge as signal strength.

Green: 100 %
Blue: 50 %
Red: 20 %

I hope you understand me.

i thought about doing that, but do not plan on changing the theme for that.


you can find those icons in the:

usr/share/themes/blanco/meegotouch/icons

and copy those to the black theme icons folder after you change the colors. then you should have what you are looking for.

not any time soon. i actually have not plans for a red theme.

i did make a megenta75 theme though to match the magenta case, much like the cyan/white/black cases.
