Hey all,

I am experiencing this problem since the last reflash that I've done on my N9 where the emoticons does not show up in conversations, instead I get a file looking icon.

And if I try to click on the smiley and then select an emoticon.. Nothing comes up in the text area...

then notice how the emoticon doesn't come up in the text box:

I searched the internet and this forum for solutions and couldn't find any..

I tried to use N9 Tweak to "restore emoticons" and that didn't work..

I followed what was said in this post and it also didn't work.

Can you guys help me out please?

if you have managed to screw your system with N9 tweak, you can always recover by doing full reflash of the firmware.

no need to reflash it, download ThemeChanger and rebuild emoticons cache.

I had this and just did a reset and all was fine.

In the setting menu:- Reset
Then click:- Restore Settings

Took 5 mins and was fine. No data is lost.
