As the title says, I'm trying to write a python script that has to behave in a certain way when my N9 is connected to a specific WLAN, and differently when it is connected to other networks (3g, other WLANs).

How can I find out which network is active?

Any help would be highly appreciated but as I am almost a total newbie to python, simplicity would be preferablle...
