You mean all the more than 400 fake 4 stars and 5 stars reviews on Amazon didn't help? What a shame!

Better execute Plan B, Nokia, if you have any.

Here's another Nielsen chart: Smartphone Share by OS



Note that the defunct Windows Mobile has 3% market share in U.S. while WP7 has 1.3%, only twice more than the dead PalmOS. WP7 cannot even convert the existing base of WinMobile users. If this isn't a failure what is?

got nokia's swan song - my n9 - so will pretty much ignore nokia from now on in... unless in the ridiculously small chance they push out linux/meego devices as opposed to winfail.

Is that Nielsen chart supposed to be to scale? And what category does Bada come under? Is that the 0.2%?

Damn it.

Even I "predicted" that by Q2 2012, the market share for Palm, Symbian and Windows Mobile (6+) would be below a Total of 2%.

And that Nokia or Windows Phone 7 would have at least about 5% to themselves. So I was thinking they would have around 5 to 6 Million devices in use.

I'm sure Nokia also had similar hopes, of at least 5 Million, it does seem they've jumped unto a tiny canoe that cannot survive the great waves of the ocean. Should've extinguished the fire, or at least made allies with your neighbouring sinking ships (Palm and RIM, or Google).

thats US, where bada is not even in the market

on what grounds are you calling a market leader a sinking ship?

Palm = Sinking Ship. Was making losses. Got sold for VERY CHEAP amount to HP who failed to unleash its potential.

RIM = Sinking Ship. Not making Profits, continually losing market share.

Nokia = Sinking Ship... they simply had no Smartphone Market/Ecosystem (apart from N900, N9, N950 niche).

Google = Not a Sinking Ship (though plagued with its own issues).
