Give me a break with single core card.
I have a Raspberry Pi board with single core 700MHz and it runs XBMC and all videos play.
It's a software related issue. I can open the video and play it in 3rd party apps, but it's very slow. So that means no hardware acceleration.
There's your problem, probably frontend of the player is not connected or there are no drivers to the GPU.
Write that and we are all happy

Pi uses a Broadcom SOC...again the sgx530 is a worse performer than the Broadcom SOC...
So like i said earlier its not the processor but the GPU...

Why is the single core card played I don't understand...Isn't it plain to see since day 1 that the n9 has a poor GPU hence the video performance is poor?
After all my 680Mhz single core A11 chip N8 could play 1080p well too...

So that's true... wow
I mean, I've read it couple of times here and there but now I believe it.
N9 has a weaker GPU than S^3 line.. And I mean the 1st gen S^3 line (E7,N8,C7 etc)
wow

Well we are talking about Nokia here...
No matter how much I hate to admit but Nokia have never released a complete flagship phone that could be considered the best among the competition in all aspects....
